Short Cuts

She liked her with long hair so she cut it short…

-this is now stuck in my thoughts…

Switched up to the bob haircut and I am totally loving it! Probably one of my favourite looks thus far!

Jacket I got from Primark a while ago still my favourite. Sunnies from Asos; I have to say I love to shop online but hate waiting for my items to arrive… trousers by George (ASDA) Shoes by adidas, safe to say it’s my favourite sport line.

But hey! Happy new month, I was supposed to post this on February last week, but oh uh… blogging can wait… still balancing all the things outside the net and priorities. This snowy weather now does not help… can we skip to summer?

Let’s Talk Hair

So, lately I’ve been getting a lot of direct messages on the gram ( @renevibez )and most of them were about my hair. This gorgeous platinum hair… I know, I love them too and yes I know this ain’t everybody’s cup of tea but this is me! As promised, I hope today’s article of the story behind my hair life, responds to all your questions, so keep on scrolling and enjoy the read!

If you already know… then you know..

Hands down! My final and most honest thought, it’s that I love hair! ( personally, long )  I don’t know what it is, just throw me a pile of hair and let me sleep on it. =D I have loved playing with hair since I was 14 years old! Where did all that time go? I would always wear a human hair weave-on or semi-synthetic wigs at the start of it all, as time went by I figured out ways and as I grew older and older, I learned a lot about hairs, not just from extensions but my own hair too. Yes I can make wigs ( No, I am not selling any just yet but I might consider it for the future, why not? ) and yes I do my own hair, I am self-taught. One must practice what they preach! I have done all sort of colours throughout my life…

I’ve gone bald and wigged, trust me, it has been many, many times, it’s hair, it is okay, it grows. back.. don’t be afraid to change your outlook just because someone doesn’t like it. Their opinion does not matter at all! I have never liked the Idea of going to a hairdresser; like some would say, they never get it just right, only close… If you are a hairdresser reading this, I hope this does not offend you, it’s not my intent, keep doing what you love!

So, back to this platinum beauty; many have asked if this is my real hair, umm… what do you say to that? It is hanging from my hair, it is extensions, ( yes they can be heavy on certain hair-dos ) but yes, I know, I can make exceptions that some people do not know the differences between real hair and natural hair and that applies to all races to be exact, before anyone starts saying this and that… LOL

I love this minimal colour and no I don’t think I would change this style anytime soon and to be exact, it has only been about a month and 1 week since installed. The only problem that I get,  is that my real hair underneath grow really fast ( if that is a problem ) So I will be taking them down this weekend to install fresh ones, you can wash them and re-use them but I don’t recommend, Is best to purchase new hair. I am using synthetic expressions hair extensions, I can use heat on them and they don’t tangle easily. No, I have chosen to stay on budget with low priced hair because I do not like to spend too much on them and I love it that way.

A Trip To London

Ahh London, my favourite place to be…

Never regretting living there for 10 years!!! It’s crazy how years go by so fast… it only feels like yesterday still. You can never forget all those long walks to certain places, faces you used to see everyday, and being a regular customer at your rather so old stores; and they do remember you once you visit some day… it’s a pretty darn good laugh!

Nowadays, whenever I plan to travel to London, it will have to be somewhere really nice… there are a few places that left spark in my heart while I was living there and I would always think of them as main choices to be heading to! This was Kensington, and what a better place to spend time inside Holland Park. If you’ve never been here, I happily recommend it as long as you’re a person who loves nature and exploring new things…

I have forever admitted that I love the outdoors… there are just so many things to explore, yet so much to capture in the memory! I think it’s safe to say that my ultimate passion after fashion, is photographing what mother earth has to offer us, see even more pictures from the trip on my art page on Instagram ( @chromabyrene )

Travel while you still can, life is all about having fun, cherishing good moments and keeping good memories through the pictures that we take.

Take more photos… X

Balancing Life

It feels so good to be back…

I’ve just come to realisation that the last time I posted on here, it was just a while ago, a little part of me inside, faints… I love to write, but as much as I want to share my updates and stories with you all, it isn’t happening as often as I thought it would the past few weeks… I’ve been tremendously busy… LOL

I promised to myself that through out the new year, I will make my times for everything more controllable and less stressful. It’s as important as health. I am not giving up on anything I want to work on… Don’t ever let your dreams go to sleep, keep them wide awake…

Happy Holidays to you all, thank you so much for keeping up with me and my blog.

Let’s cherish the last few days of 2017 and I hope we all make it!!!

There is a new chapter to every story…

I am such a colourful person that sometimes I feel I am way too colourful and then I get upset for no reason about it, yes, I do! Unfortunately… LOL.

I love the colour black, is never too much black, how dangerously unapologetic…

I want to really appreciate being minimal a little more, I have gone completely minimal with all my outfits, setting my closet right and colour coordinating it, meaning whites with whites, blacks with blacks, etc. and thus far I am loving it! I have never felt so stress-free with my wardrobe and it is safe to say that it does helps a lot to ease the mind from the typical clothing chaos! I had to put away in a suitcase, all of my most colourful items that I own. I feel quite sad in a way but this will help clear my mind for sure.

I hope you are all having an amazing week so far! Oh my! I cannot wait for the weekend!

Fall Vibez

Hi dearies, I trust you are all well. This month is one heck of a busiest one ever, but not to stress about it, everything is well prepared! Start with a positive thought every morning and you will do fine darling! 🙂

It has been so windy the past few days and especially this evening… but I am really glad that the sun showed up a bit; I love golden colours, you would say I am a fall’s person but really is just in my clothes when It comes to neutral tones! I can never get rid of black though in most of my outfits…!

Probably my favourite sweater from TopShop, and how cute is that golden vintage crop top? I thought of giving away that leopard handbag which I got from Primark ages ago but I also thought of upcycling it (creating something out of it, or updating it with stuffs over it). I believe is better to fix your stuff rather than just buy new ones! LOL

Sometimes all you need is a quiet, calm spot, with a simple view of trees and simply nature all around you… the best things in life are free indeed…

The trees are about to show how lovely it is to let the dead things go…

Red x Plaid

Hey darlings, don’t forget to smile. 🙂

Please remember, some people aren’t worthy of your time, don’t expect anyone to make you happy, the world will always judge but they don’t have to love you. Think positively “Like me or hate me, I don’t care” Know your worth and have in mind that you can be stronger than you think.

That poncho is one of my faves from Next and it’s in my favourite colour, red, wearing it as a top there rather than outwear; I think we can address the fact it don’t look like a poncho. LOL. And that’s what happens when you have a lot of clothes but don’t know what to wear. Funny thought that! But that purse though, yes, I am a collector of small handbags and if I see one at the a shop, I can’t ever really resist, it has to be really special. I often shop for these type of beauties at a thrift store as there are more vintage and simply classic and unique.

Forget all the things you’ve encountered so far and have a great week ahead!

A Rainy Day

Pick up the phone because Friday is calling…

So, this week said it will be raining for the whole of it… you know what they say; the weather changes your mood… let’s hope it won’t be as much now, because I have plans to photoshoot more outdoor outfits!

This is a complete George ( ASDA UK ) look, I love everything in the clothing section of this place! It all started when I moved close to it… long story short. My first place for the latest trends to when I get the time to, as I hardly ever lately… Yes, for some of us, we do need a whole day; literally, to get everything we need from a clothing store. LOL.

I love a simple outfit at times, or pop of colours from time to time, now or later. That George ( ASDA UK ) tracksuit explains my mood exactly for today’s look, bold, a little moody and a bit chilled out… But wait, isn’t it awesome how I can fit almost everything in that bag though? That bad boy is super convenient for everyday use, don’t judge me if you see me with it in all my outfits, I told you so… LOL.

One of my favourite garments in fashion is the houndstooth pattern, prints and or knitted work of it. It’s amazing how a work of a garment can make you feel.

I can’t remember the last time I felt like this, before eventually, and finally finding the name of this pattern 5 years ago. ( How on earth time flies like that… *sigh* )

Many people do not know pattern names so I think that, it’s always a great thing to do your research into items you need the answers to; It is actually called the Dogtooth in the English term. Houndstooth in other cases… so if you are looking into specific things always refer it in its all different names… Check out our awesome feed, that I am part of as one of the teams over Instagram here

I originally bought this coat from Amazon, a few years back, and yes that’s one of my favourite online places to shop at… in case you were wondering.

The top and leggings I am wearing down there, are from Primark. Most of the leggings that I buy are from there, I never look into buying a very high priced legging as I can even make my own but sometimes there isn’t enough time but can be balanced either way.

I hope you are all enjoying your weekend! Thank you for being here…

Hi darlings! How are we all doing? I trust that you are all well!

October is in! YAY! Where did the year go though? I was expecting it to be longer. LOL. I can’t believe how 2017 is nearly over. In less than 2 months we’ll all be welcoming 2018.

I am saying goodbye to blue hair for good… I have reached to the point where I got tired of bright and bold hairstyles. There isn’t any other colour left to do… So I said to myself, this is it! Let’s go back to nomral boring and never out of style hair looks…. oh well! Life!

I must say I have fairly accomplished many, many, things throughout this whole year; more than what I expected to achieve, and it is only the beginning… The hardest part is not giving up on the things I love the most and keeping believing in myself that I have the power to achieve everything I have ever wanted in time. All it takes hard work, consinstency and motivation around me. If you cannot find motivation ask, or look for one. It helps so much and life is less of a stressful mess!

Let’s get ready so the weekend can arrive! =)
